Are you in the living room watching TV (or in a restaurant, or ...) and playing a song you want to know its name, take out your smartphone and open the Shazam app. But it would also be good to be able to use it from our computer.
It turns out that Shazam has just introduced a web version (in a trial phase) of the song recognition service, which is available from the home page of its website.
If you are not a user of Chrome, Safari or Firefox on macOS, the only operating systems that are currently enabled, you will not be able to use this service. But in fact, there is nothing to prevent a Windows or Linux user from enjoying this app on their computers.
To achieve this, it is enough to trick Shazam and convince him that we are using the latest version of Safari from macOS. This, of course, will be achieved by changing the user agent for our browser, but how?
Firefox
Chrom
Once the desired user agent is configured, we'll get to the Shazam.com site and find the famous "Click to Shazamear" button ready to use (although you must first give permission to the Web to use our device's microphone).

Of course if you are used to MAC there is no need to install any addition where it will work with you directly once you log into the link below.
